Pocono Area Rottweiler Club Membership Agreement:

Please read the following agreement carefully.  By signing this application you are entering into a legally binding contract.

 

I (We) will only breed Rottweilers who comply with the USRC standard for the Rottweiler.  I (We) will only breed Rottweilers who are at least two years of age.  I (We) will only breed Rottweilers who have been certified Free, HD+/-, HD A, or HD B for hip dysplasia by OFA, or an FCI member kennel club or Rottweilers who have a valid USRC recognized Ztp.  When docking, I (We) will only dock tails on dogs less than seven days old and will dock the entire litter.

 

As a PARC member or as a non-member event participant, I (We) fully understand that the PARC is a hobby club made up of people interested in the Rottweiler breed.  When participating in a PARC' sanctioned event or utilizing the membership privileges extended to me (us) by PARC, I (We) do not expect to receive any type of financial gain, either personal or business related from the outcome of events of from the issuing of titles by judges or from the issuance of PARC related paperwork and materials.

 

By signing this application I (We) agree to uphold the rules and by-laws of PARC and the USRC at all times.  I (We) agree to conduct myself (ourselves) in a conscientious and sportsmanlike manner at any and all PARC/USRC events.  In consideration of and as inducement to the acceptance of my (our) application for membership in PARC or the acceptance of my(our) event entries, I (We) hereby agree to release, discharge and hold harmless PARC, its officers, directors, members, employees, agents, ensigns, family members and event volunteers in advance from and against any and all liability, whether foreseeable or unforeseeable, arising out of or in any way connected with activities of PARC even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of PARC or any person or entity acting on or alleged to  have been acting on their behalf.  I (We) further  understand that by their very nature sporting activities involving dogs have a potentially increased risk of  personal injury and property damage.

 

I (We) therefore agree to assume all the risks of injury to my person or property, whether known or unknown, that could arise out of my (our) participation in activities of PARC.  I (We) further agree that I (We) will not sue or threaten to sue the PARC organization, PARC Officers, Directors, PARC Executive Board members or PARC members or their representatives, employees, agents, ensigns, family members, or event volunteers in any manner for any reason whatsoever.

 

I (We) agree that any cause of action, controversy or claim arising out of or related to the membership, entry, exhibition, judging, or attendance at the event between PARC and a PARC member or as to the construction, interpretation and effect of this agreement shall be settled by the United States Rottweiler Club dispute resolution procedures.  However, as precondition to utilizing the USRC dispute resolution procedures to settle disputes, all applicable PARC bylaws, rules and regulations and procedures must first be followed as set forth in the PARC bylaws, rules, regulations, published policies and guidelines.

 

I (We) understand that the signing of this membership application constitutes agreement to the PARC membership regulations as a condition of becoming and remaining a member of the Pocono Area Rottweiler Club.  I (We) understand that the terms of this membership agreement are upheld from renewal year to renewal year by the act of submitting yearly club dues.  I (We) understand that the terms of this membership agreement  are subject to change at any time without notice.  I (We) understand that violation of this membership agreement may result in the loss of PARC privileges and could include expulsion from PARC.
